If you know the rough length of the roof edges, pass it along. The estimator measures everything at the house anyway.

Usually, yes. A one-piece gutter runs the full length of the wall with no joints along the way, and joints are where most gutter leaks start. Sectional gutters snap together every few feet, and each of those seams can open up over time.
Most houses get K-style gutters, which have a flat back and a shaped front. We also install half round and box gutters, plus copper. Half round and copper suit older homes and houses where the look matters most.
